Mr. Zhang graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, studying under clarinet virtuoso Tao Xuguang and Professor Xie Chuan. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Education Committee of the Beijing Clarinet Association. During his studies, he was the principal clarinetist of the school orchestra and served as the lead woodwind sound engineer in the Thousand-Person Orchestra. He won first prize in the 2018 Voice of Wind Music competition and was invited for three consecutive years to participate in the Tianjin Summer Music Festival, where he served as a wind ensemble instructor. Mr. Zhang has long been engaged in clarinet coaching for school orchestras in Beijing and Tianjin, accumulating extensive teaching and performance experience. He is dedicated to helping students develop solid playing techniques and expressive musicality.
