Ben is a math teacher with a lifelong passion for education and exploring mathematical landscapes. He recently completed a Master's in Education at Harvard University, having earlier earned a Master's in mathematics at the University of Washington, and a Bachelor's in Math from Carnegie Mellon University with minors in Philosophy, Music, and Film Studies. As a high school student, he qualified three times for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam, and placed second in the state at the Oregon Invitational Math Tournament. He teaches math from the elementary school level through Calculus for the Art of Problem Solving, as well as for AoPS Academies. He also taught Precalculus, AP Calculus, and Multivariable Calculus at BASIS DC, and Precalculus and AP Calculus at the U.S. Senate Page School. Ben is a licensed teacher, who tutors individual students from all over the world, and enjoys learning other languages and cultures!
